How predictions are scored, and anything else worth knowing.
Scoring
What a prediction is worth depends on two things: how close you got, and how big the match is. Bigger matches pay more.
Accuracy is tiered, not cumulative — an exact score is also a correct goal difference and a correct winner, but only the single highest matching tier is awarded.
| Match | Exact score | Goal difference | Winner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oefenwedstrijd (friendly) | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Nationaal | |||
| Eredivisie | 6 | 4 | 2 |
| TOTO KNVB Beker | 6 | 4 | 2 |
| Johan Cruijff Schaal | 6 | 4 | 2 |
| Eredivisie vs. the traditional top three (PSV, Feyenoord) | 10 | 7 | 4 |
| Europees | |||
| Champions League | 10 | 7 | 4 |
| Europa League | 10 | 7 | 4 |
| Conference League | 10 | 7 | 4 |
- Get none of the above right and the prediction scores 0.
- Friendlies score nothing. Predict them for fun — they never move the leaderboard.
- The traditional top three is Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord — so an Eredivisie match against PSV or Feyenoord pays the same as a European night.
